Estate Agents - who needs them?
I’ve just put my house on the market and this has made me question what it is that Estate Agents actually do.
Snobbery of the .Net Developer
I’ve wanted to get this off my chest for quite a while, and finally I’ve decided to do it. There is something about your average .Net developer that makes them feel they are a cut above the rest.
Spam, Spam, Spam
I found out something very random today. Whilst doing a search on theusualsuspect.com I noticed an email address in some of the search results. The email address was kaiser_sose [at] theusualsuspect [dot] com. For years now I’ve had spam emails hitting that email address and I’ve just assumed it was some spammers with a slight interest in the film, however it appears someone (I believe they are German) has been registering an email address under my domain. The question is what on earth can I do about it? I believe there is nothing, maybe I can ask to have the email address removed, but my German is pretty poor.
Overseas Property in Dubai
My brother has set up new website about investing in dubai. No doubt this will mean he will want lots of advice from me on how to do things. The site itself is a great idea for telling people how they can invest their money in dubai. To be honest I’m half tempted myself, except for the fact that I’m busy trying to buy a new house here in the UK. The reason I’m tempted is due to the rate these properties are rising in value, it’s a great investment opportunity. Maybe in a few more years I’ll be able to put some money down on one of these dubai properties.
Third time lucky?
Ok, so I’ve tried writing a blog in the past and after a while the whole thing has died a death. I think my main problem is that I read loads of other blogs and everyone else seems to have better and more important things to say. One thing I’ve come to realise though, the blog isn’t for other people it’s for me, so I’m going to give it another shot. I’m going to add things to this blog that are important to me, and if someone else reads it then great and if not I’m fine with that, at least I’ll have somewhere to put stuff for future use.
